"I love the desert plants and especially the Agave. The Desert Botanical Garden is one of my favorite places to visit and photograph. The serrated spiked and undulating organic shapes always impress and inspires me. Once I take the photo and I am back in the studio I work in Photoshop to transform it into a piece of art. I use many of layers and color variations to achieve the look I am after. Do I know when I start what the final result will look like?... no, it often takes on a life of its own.
