"This agave was kind of leaning on its side. The blues and greens along with the lighting caused me to snap a shot of it. Back in the studio I began to explore the possibilities with this image. I used many of layers, masks, filters and blending modes to arive at the image you see here. It tells a story of the struggle in the life of a desert plant." -James Metcalf
